The Ministry of Small Moments

By Meridith Curtis

The Ministry of Small Moments

What if the greatest ministry of your life isn't found on a stage, in a pulpit, or across an ocean—but in the unnoticed, everyday moments unfolding right in front of you?

This is the heart of Kingdom Living: How Your Ordinary Days Become Extraordinary Ministry, and with the launch just days away on May 10, I want to offer you a deeper look into the message behind the book—and the invitation that's waiting for you.

The Hidden Power of the Everyday

We often look for purpose in the big, bold moments. We pray for God to use us in mighty ways. But what if He already is?

"The most powerful ministry rarely happens under a spotlight—it happens in the quiet corners of our lives where faithfulness shows up day after day."

That's a quote from Day 1 of the book, and it sums up what I've learned over years of ministry—not only in distant places but also in the sacred rhythm of my home, my neighborhood, and my relationships.

Your commute. Your kitchen sink. Your grocery line conversation. These aren't interruptions to your ministry—they are your ministry.

Why This Message Now?

Because we are weary.

Because too many of us have believed the lie that unless our ministry is loud, large, or viral, it doesn't matter. But Jesus modeled something different. His Kingdom is upside-down—elevating the meek, honoring the humble, and blessing those who pour themselves out in hidden ways.

This devotional is not a call to "do more." It's an invitation to see more—to recognize that God is already at work in the details of your daily life, and to partner with Him right where you are.

A Sneak Peek from the Book

"You don't need a platform or a title to make an eternal difference. God uses the lunch you pack, the prayer you whisper, the kindness you show, the forgiveness you offer. These are holy moments. These are Kingdom moments."

Each of the 40 days in Kingdom Living includes:

  • A scripture reflection
  • A short devotion
  • A practical daily challenge
  • A journaling prompt to go deeper
  • And a prayer to root it all in God's presence

This isn't about adding to your to-do list. It's about aligning your heart with the rhythms of grace already moving through your life.

The Ministry of Small Moments Starts Now

Don't wait for the perfect time, the next stage of life, or a different assignment. Ministry isn't something you prepare for—it's something you live.

That's why I believe there's no better time than now. And no better season than summer to begin.

Imagine spending the next 40 days leaning into this sacred truth: that your ordinary days are already part of God's extraordinary work. That's the journey Kingdom Living invites you into.

Join Me

I want to personally invite you to join this journey—not just as a reader, but as a fellow Kingdom laborer.

🗓 Mark your calendar: May 10

Let's be people who choose presence over pressure, faithfulness over fame, and love over performance.

Let's reclaim the sacred in the small.

Because the ministry of small moments? It starts now.

With love and expectancy,
Meridith
